I worked here in 1988 and was getting all my friends a job! Great place then. Like stated it was GTC owned in the beginning. When United Artist took over, they installed a self service concession stand. There were two sides to like two Ls. I worked in the back of it popping corn, putting out nachos and cheese along with hotdogs. The candy was under the register beneath the attendant. We had so much fun working there!! At the time, the manager was caught taking money and given the boot. Won’t say his name, but still remember it. We all did crazy things there from sexual escapades to eating the concession items. Good times indeed!
They must mean Lowes as Waveland does not have a Home Depot. McDonald’s is in front of here, but sits away about 100 yards on Hwy 90. I heard Katrina closed it. Good old Katrina did a number here too. This place had 4 screens not 3. Notice the poster holders? There are 4 and just below main sign star3 is boxes 1-4.
