Per Google The Valley Theater is now the Anderson Teen Center and is used as a safe space for teenagers to gather. Glad to see it’s still in use.
Per Google the cultural center that was here is “permanently closed”
This theater has now officially closed due to rent disputes with the landlord.
It looks like on Google street view the address is 315 E. Don Tyler Ave.
Where was the other drive in theater located in Albemarle?
This theater was originally a bank and has been restored to look more like a bank but holds a restaurant. The address is 926 Bay St.
I just saw this theater in the movie The Devil’s Advocate. Sad it’s not there anymore.
