The Kraver Theatre was a typical 1940’s style streamline moderne theatre. The exterior facade was made up of glossy burgandy & pale yellow panels with alluminum trim. It had an illuminated marques that ran the lenghth of the recessed entry area. Facing the theatre the glass enclosed ticket booth was to the left of the entry doors with the office area located inside directly behind the booth. Under the marques were numerous alluminum framed displays housing coming attraction movie posters. The interior curtains, seats, ropes and trim were done in plush burgandy velour. The consession area was in the back center area of the lobby, with entry doors to the theatre on each side. To the right of the consession area were the stairs leading up to the balcony. It was a wonderful venue and a great place to see a movie. I wlll always remember the Kraver Theatre and think of it fondly.
