We first saw the Captain Video serial at the Rialto in 1951 - there were 15 thrilling episodes.

Columbia serials were one of the main attractions of the Saturday movie matinee when we were growing up in the 40s and 50s. Each chapter ended with a cliff hanger and you just had to go back next Saturday to find out what happened!- Captain Video was one of those serials.
