I too was born in Lawton. San Lazaro 477 enter Dolores y Tejar. My best friend and I went to Cine Victoria or Cine San Francisco every Sunday. Are they still in one piece?
Victoria was nicknamed “el pulguero.”
I saw “El Hombre que Mato a Billy el Nino” in 1967 at the Alameda. WOW! There was a supermarket named “La Copa” close by. My friend lived in an apartment building across the street from the theater.

We walked by it when we visited Havana in 2001. It was in ruins, smelled of urine, very sad!

OMG! My best friend and I went to see movies every Sunday either to this movie theater or to Victoria before we left Cuba in 1971.
