Milledgeville was a great town to grow up in and I spent many Saturdays at the Campus Theatre with my friends watching double and triple features. It is sad to me that it remains closed – I would love to see the neon marquee lit up again. I’m sure the college students would support it. When I visit my family in Milledgeville and walk around downtown, I always peer in. You can see the lobby and concession stand. It is just wrong that it is abandoned. I wish I had the “pretty penny” it would take to bring it back to life.
