That is great! I grew up here in Tryon, and remember that well. What wonderful memories. The Family Dollar is gone now. I think the latest pic I saw here was accurate. The theater had the old speakers that hang on the car window. We lived with ¼ mile, and could ride our bikes up on the hill, and see the big screen. Cool stuff from Tryon’s past.
I remember that one too. Only 15 or so miles from us. I think now it’s for junk cars for parts? I recall going there for movies many times. Early 70s.
