the theatre was designed by Archt. Juan Nakpil. Nakpil became national Artist for Architecture in the Philippines. the grand lobby of the theatre is treated with faux marble finish.
Architect- Juan Arellano; Restoration Architect (1970’s) Otillio Arellano; Style- Art Deco, using Philippine mottifs for the ornamentation; seating capacity- 1,670; status- closed in the mid 1990’s, still standing,but deteriorating; east wing used as office space; soon to be rehabilitated

this theatre was demolished since the late 1970’s to give way to a department store. the architect was Archt. Pablo Antonio
