The Palace awaiting its possible fate in 1988. Thankfully it was Grade II Listed and renovated/restored albeit for non cinema use to become Cheeks night club which morphed into another night club The Rythm Station. Later to become the short lived music venue The Palace. Living on now as a banqueting and entertainment venue retaining the name Palace. The Palace will be 107 years old on Boxing day (26th Dec) 2020
