View showing original auditorium with main circular central light fitting, with further support lighting from the six side wall alcoves each with their painted designs being lit from below by uplighters. The Wurlitzer organ rests in centre of orchestra pit, however, it is the outstanding design of the organ chamber grilles that deserve our attention on the splay walls, they give the impression of futuristic space ships awaiting take off, but it is another five years before Flash Gordon arrives upon the cinema screens in 1936!!!!!
