As a kid, I just couldn’t miss Batman & Robin’s visit to a local movie theater (the Morton Village Theater) in my then hometown in Plainview, Long Island, NY, so I grabbed my semi-trusty Kodak Instamatic camera and flew down there (well, as fast as one can fly on a bicycle). This was the only shot I could get, being almost knocked down by the huge mass-o-kids, as B & R were quickly being ushered into the theater by their entourage of promo-people and the police. This girl with huge hair kept blocking my view. Where’s a good hedge-trimmer when you need one? (Summer, 1966 or 1967)
