I also saw King Kong 1976 on opening day here with the same Uncle as above. It was so packed we had to sit in the last row under the balcony.
I saw Dawn of the Dead and Mother’s Day in 1980 at this awesome Drive – In…if I remember correctly there was a Skate Park as you pulled in for skate boarders…
I spent many a summer weekend at this drive in…My parents would think I was asleep after the Showing of KONGA and my eyes were peeled watching Sherri Caffaro in the Ginger movies…GOD I miss this place!
I met Stephen King and George Romero at a screening of Creepshow there in 1982. My uncle Owen Haskell took me to these things on a regular basis and made me the movie buff I am today! Thank god for this page!!!!
