The Regal cinema, café restaurant and ballroom opened for business in 1935. This fine example of 1930s Art Deco style architecture stood on the corner of Manor Road and Norwood in Beverley, East Yorkshire, England.
This book chronicles the seven decades that the building was operational as the main source of entertainment for many local people.
The hardback book has over 260 colour pages, contains 11 chapters, over 90 thousand words and over 1,800 images.
The book will be launched on 2nd November 2014, exactly 79 years since the Regal first opened its doors in 1935.
