Alicia Hall was owned by my great grandmother Arabella (Belle) Cowie she bought it around 1923 and sold it around 1951-52, there were both silent and talkies. Belle played the piano when they had silent movies. My grandfather Robert Cowie and his uncle Rueben Olden (Belles brother) were the projectionists. The seats weren’t bolted down and they would move them aside to have the dances. Belle sold the Hall to Jack Bilson who was an electrician. The man who built the hall named it after his daughter Alicia.
