I have a picture of the byrnes building on 55th. and Halsted. I also lived there in the 60’s I think about that building all the time and have lots of memories growing up there. The corner store that was located on the corner was called pappas homemade candy store. I went to Oliver wendall Holmes grade school that was located a couple of blocks west of the building. I also have fond memories of going swimming at Shermann Park. I miss that old building and all the people that there. Thanks Pat
