A long distance from the former back of the balcony the projector center DCP beam goes thru this opening. I call this PROJECTO-VISION. Just like they did at the old UA Alexandria Theatre on Geary in SF. One advantage of this system is the two small cinemas left up in the former Empire balcony area don’t have sound leaking. You do hear a small amount of base at times in the larger downstairs cinema #1 cinema.
