Here is a monthly program that my parents saved from April 1934. My grandmother loved ‘Dish’‘Crystal Night’ & ‘Keno Game Night’ when they gave out free items. You would hear the china break on the floor during the movie. I never got to see the inside of the Capitol, was too young. It closed in the mid 1950’s,probably never put in CinemaScope. I do remember the bowling sign outside just before they tore the place down. My local cinema the ‘Fairfax Theatre’ on Foothill Blvd stayed open into the 1970’s and is now a church in Oakland CA.
