there’s actually three screens here - the third is in the basement and I think it was originally intended to be used for members or private hire but as of September 2024 public performances are screening in there. 17 seats across two rows, I think only pipped by screen 5 at The Chiswick Cinema as the smallest cinema screen in London by number of seats
I contacted Picturehouse about the apparent closure - they told me they weren’t aware of such an event, and that the building can’t be demolished anyway because it’s listed
this cinema now has eleven screens – screens 9 and 10 are in the main screening area and 11 is in the foyer accessible only with a PIN code for some reason
screen 5 (the private screening room) has 16 seats. I’m pretty sure it’s the smallest cinema screen in London by number of seats

the cinema actually closed on April 14th
per the Showroom’s own website (https://www.showroomworkstation.org.uk/info/history) the first two screens opened in 1995
the cinema now has 10 screens
this one is now advertised together with the main building as just ODEON Richmond - the main building’s screens are 1-3, the Studio is 4-7.
