I remember as a child every Saturday going to see the newest serial with cartoons. I used to live next to Heron Park School on Manse Road and would walk up Lawrence Avenue to the Roxy. I believe I had 50 cents or so which would get me in the show and buy popcorn and a drink. As I recall there was a hardware store next to the Roxy on one side and on the other side was a vacant lot.
