Hey Brad…I lived most of my life in Victoria and have personally been to some of the theaters there. I just recently moved to Rosenberg though. Its great that some of them are being renovated. I’d like to see some pictures of the old ones.
First time I went to this drive-in was about 1968.We lived less than ½ mile from it. During the 80’s it started showing only adult movies. This lasted for several years then it finally closed.
I recently moved to Rosenberg. I was wondering what was going on with this theater. There is also another theater that I ran across recently in the same area. The downstairs is an antique shop. We walked up the stairs and to the right is an old theater that was being used for live performances. They were selling the old seating to raise money to buy new seating and other things. I don’t remember the name of it. It could be the other theater the other poster mentioned.
800 cars? It wasn’t that big as far as I can remember.

Last time I went to the Gemini Theater was to see Jaws.

I didn’t know this theater was still around. I believe I own the original projector from this theater.
