I was in high school on the east side at Bishop Hartley when my stepfather Angel Luis Azcarraga, who was a film and stage actor in my native Cuba worked there as a film equipment operator in the late 60’s to mid 70’s, while I worked there temporarily as a kid setting up the marquee.
