I’d love to see some interior photos – I’ve only heard about La Vogue from older friends.
Any news on the Roosevelt – I heard it might be restored and brought back to life.
My father proposed to my mother at this drive in by hiding the ring in a Cracker Jack box.
Sadly it’s now “chicken pen” style condos.
Haven’t been there in while. I know the lobby is fantastic, but have they done anything with the interior – last I knew it was still “multiplexy”.
I really miss this theater. Many fond memories with a Snap-on outing on Christmas with popcorn balls and short cartoon films.
I remember fondly waiting in line for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. You knew a movie was good if the line wrapped around the corner.
Probably will eventually become a budget cinema like the old Highway 50 cinema in Kenosha.
Church conversion – a stadium seated church would be interesting!
