Demolition crews are nearing the completion of the demolition of the Stanley Theatre, shortly after this picture was taken by Roy Wagner the site of the Stanley became a lousy parking lot, before demolition began Morris Mechanic ordered the Stanley to be demolished right to the ground with nothing left of it but bricks and rubble. This is the work of a well hated man. And now today the tables are turning as the Mechanic theater endures the same fate as the Stanley did 49 years earlier.
