Though my family and I frequented this drive-in in the late 70s and early 80s, my only vivid recollection of the place was watching the area being landscaped in 1989 after it was demolished. My mother and I watched from a location just to the east of it, a grassy knoll on the grounds of a small building which is probably gone now, too.
This Omaha World-Herald file photo was taken before the Q-Twin’s season opener in 1987. I would bet that the newspaper still owns the copyright.
