That’s Kenyon manager Lige Brien with a plane that dropped 40,000 leaflets promoting the 1943 film “Air Force” Each war bond buyer with the flyer got in free. He also convinced the ice cream shop to create an “Air force sundae.”

That’s my father! Way ahead of his time. He managed the Kenyon, Barry and Enright Theaters in Pittsburgh, then he went to NYC for a huge career in the movie biz.
