Old record scrap drive is on at the Washington Theatre in Maysville. Bringing in any ten records will get you into the show for free and any five gets a child through the door. So successful was this 1942 stunt held at both the Russell and Washington theatres and co-promoted by G.C. Murphy Five and Dime that the promotion was brought back two more times.
