The REO Motor Car Company was celebrating the release of its new Flying Cloud in 1927 with a parade and caravan. The Michigan Theatre wanted to promote the film playing there, Cecil B DeMille’s “The Yankee Clipper.” Here are two mobile ads for the Michigan and “Clipper,” one on a vehicle with a boat and the other a traveling billboard – likely the 24-sheet for the film at the far right of the shot.
