Before heading to New York to be the regular organist at the Flushing Keith, Saxe Circuit hired Cowham at the Oriental from 1923 to 1929 where his dog (upper right) delighted audiences by playing a part in virtually ever performance.

How could he be playing at the Oriental in 1923? The theatre wasn’t even built yet.
