Queen Theatre
The Brockmans sold the Queen to E.L. Black or his brother. Black sold it to John T. Northcutt. Northcutt then sold it back to the Black family with E.L. Black moving to Frisco in 1927. Here’s an ad of his at left. Black sold it – but when the stock market collapsed – the new owners seemed to flounder so Black got it back (see note at right). And The Big Parade was a big hit for the theater in 1927 (at bottom).
