A drawing I did on site in 1993 of the Studio Theatre auditorium, mainly sketched during the Intermission between “Menace 2 Society,” and “Free Willy.” (!) The Studio was operating as a triple feature bargain house at the time, and sometimes the combinations of films shown were quite unusual. The light glowing from the cove surrounding the ceiling border was red. The curtains were gold. The sculpted foliate decorations were gold. The murals, as best as I can remember, used a lot of blues and pinks and beiges.
