Here’s a 1921 shot of the Strand and Freddie, the official front man hired by manager Eller Metzger. Freddie went through the streets of Creston passing out promotional flyers, playing roles on the stage in prologue and stood out front of the theatre and did ballyhoo as in this bit to promote “Last of the Mohicans”
