Image description: The Granada Theater, located in the 200 block of North Michigan Street, opened its doors on February 16, 1927, directly across the street from its older rival, the Palace Theater. The theater had 2,500 seats and its dome-like ceiling featured concealed lights which twinkled, producing the effect of a star-studded sky.
