When “My Maryland” was revived in 1934 it was Louis Casavant’s last performance in a play that toured the country.The Depression effected stage actors too,Louis tried to get work at The Kaufman Studio in Astoria,Queens,NY in talking pictures,but only found work with the government Civilian Conservation Corps known as “The C.C.C.’s”
