If one picture could sum up the history of the Vaudette Theatre, this would be it. Otto L. Meistrer had a contract to play Keystone films and when Charlie Chaplin hit it big, the Vaudette was packed with Messier, here, using a 24-sheet cutout as his front to draw a huge crowd in 1914.
