View of South El Paso Street in April 1983, showing Texas Finance Company, the Jacques Game Room and Bar, the Capri Theater, Grand Hotel, Amex Liquors, Oasis Restaurant and the Plaza Theater. The buildings from 111 S. El Paso (Texas Finance) to the corner were torn down to make way for the Camino Real Hotel’s 17-story tower to be built in 1986.
