The last ad, on Sunday, 11/13/83. In Spring of 1984 the land was sold for redevelopment, and the Showplace East Cinema/Imax is there now, along with a Harley-Davidson dealership, a Rally’s Drive-Thru, an Asian market and various other small retail shops along Green River Road.
