On 20th September 1966 a Hunters Hill bus (to Chatswood) blocks our view of the Palace front-of-house advertising of the next attraction: “A Patch of Blue”. By this time screenings were restricted to Saturdays only at 1 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. Hoyts closed the theater a year later with “Born Free” on 16th September 1967.
