Maple City Drive-In. Kodachrome image taken by Albert S. “Al” Johnson in October 1952. Al’s Johnson Construction Company built the Maple City Drive-In which was located in Charlotte, Michigan.
Here’s another view of the building site, with a bulldozer and a grader used to level the site. Piles of timbers will be cut and bolted together to form the screen tower frame.
