I will check this Saturday when I go for the first time to see Quite #2 in the large RPX® Theatre #12 auditorium. I think It was filmed in scope so the screen will have white at the top and bottom as no masking was put in. When that happens you see no curve at all in the middle of the screen. I was told by the manager that Dolby Atmos® was put in and I did see dark semi hidden speakers up in the ceiling. After all San Francisco is the home of Dolby®. He was very busy and who knows the manager is not a tech person. This RPX® space seats 296 people. It’s just too bad the screen is not as curved as the older AMC & Century XD theatres in SF. When I looked inside last month at this new Regal 12 the screen frames looked much more curved but when they put the screen fabric up the last week I think someone took some of the bend curve off the metal frames out?
