1949 renovation took on major changes moving shoe store to left rear quarter and redoing the lower level seating, removed silver screen and added new sound and concession stand along with mats for lobby and new carpeting lower level Roxy Pichi moved up to Manager later in 1970 Roxy bought the Union from partners B&Q
