Poster advertising the opening of the Biograph on Thursday 7th April 1910. Owner and Manager was William George Hawkins. The Alexandra still included variety acts as the orchestra still list their conductor Mr J Stubbs. This poster advertising the new Biograph is rare and is the only known original copy to survive from the inception of films into the Alexandra’s repertoire during 1910.
