The Empire Theatre’s name lasted until April 1941, although it was listed as “New” Empire Theatre for possible reasons, due to past remodeling.
For a short time, the theatre went under the name of “Theatre Of McHenry” for nearly 6 months until launching the Colony Theatre name in September 1941.
