This photo showing a worker helping raise a site-built rafter during constructon of the Keego Theatre, recently surfaced among my grandfather’s (Al Johnson) papers. Al owned the Birmingham-based Johnson Construction Co. which built the Keego in 1940. The photo is inscribed “February 1940 Keego.”
