“Pictured behind Santa and his reindeer, near the northeast corner of Third and Ripley streets, is the Kahl building. Businesses there included Rhomberg’s, furriers, 336 W. Third Street; Citizens Federal Savings and Loan Association (334), and the Capitol Theater (330-332), where "Northwest Mounted Police” was playing in Technicolor. On the second floor, above Citizens Federal Savings and Loan, were the law offices of Alfred C. (Alf) Mueller."
