Located in the Downtown square of Waxahachie Texas, The Texas Theatre opened originally in 1895 as the Dixie Theatre & the name was changed sometime around 1915. Closing for a while, the Theatre re-opened as a recording studio. Closing again for a short while, it was once again re-opened as a Live Venue & showing movies on special occassions.
