Celebrating 100 years - Published in The Warrnambool Standard March 22, 1947

Interesting advert from a 1947 Warrnambool Standard. 77 years later the Capitol is still entertaining the locals but the Liberty is long gone. It was built on the site of the burnt out Palais de Dance in Lava Street in 1939, and closed in 1965. It was demolished and a Coles supermarket is now on the site.
