All the former used seats have been removed and are up for sale. The whole inside is being touched up for the big 2025 re opening. With live stage events and a few movies in DCP, 35mm & 70MM projection. New ceiling paint, new rugs, new big CinemaScope movie screen with masking, new curtains, new stereo surround system, new pipe/electric organ, deco lights refurbished, air conditioning/heater, side wall paintings restored and last but not least are all the new bars set up on different flat levels plus automatic movable seats. The balcony stays the same with the old refurbished seats We look forward to the grand opening. Save your cash the New Castro Theatre Entertainment Center SF will be very expensive $$$. No more cheap popcorn and movies.
