Located in the south Melbourne suburb of Bentleigh, on the corner of Centre Road and Nicholson Street. The Bentleigh Theatre was opened in 1924. By 1946 it was operated by Hoyts Theatres and was modernised in 1948. It was closed in 1984 and has since been demolished.
Some shop units have been built on the site, but retaining a small section of the theatre along Nicholson Street - Notes by Ken Roe
