Cica 1947 photo, source below.
Around 1947 a photographer stood in the middle of the street in front of Charlson’s Furniture in Barnesboro, Cambria County and snapped this picture. At left is Smith’s Theatre and Karp’s Jewelers. On right is Binder Bros. Hardware, Breen’s with the Coca Cola sign and further up the street can be seen a part of the “W” on Wolfs Furniture. Notice how 10th Street (now Crawford Avenue) narrows down to a wide dirt path near today’s Rake’s Auto Repair. (Photo from Jack Bartock via https://www.facebook.com/groups/BARNESBOROandSPANGLER/)
