A thousand kilometres from Perth and situated between red dust and mountain ranges, cash is still king at the Tom Price drive-in theatre.

Once a fortnight, during the dry season, residents of the
mining town are treated to a movie screening at the town’s drive-in cinema.

While card facilities are available, the drive-in still deals with “a fair percentage” in cash.
